In a recent interview with CFO.com, Workday CFO Zane Rowe shared his thoughts on what\u2019s changing\u2014and what isn\u2019t\u2014in the Office of the CFO (OCFO). The OCFO has always leveraged technology, but the landscape has shifted dramatically with the exponential growth of data. Today, advancements in data analytics and AI are transforming how finance teams operate\u2014enabling more accurate forecasting, deeper insights, and more strategic decision-making. As Rowe noted in his interview<\/a>, “What took years a decade ago now happens in months,” underscoring the accelerating pace of change driven by modern tools. Similarly, financial Institutions are also dealing with both an increasing amount of data in the form of P2P transactions<\/a> via apps like Zelle, and strict security and compliance requirements that add to the complexity of their day-to-day. So, the ability for our systems to be able\u202fto handle that volume, but also to be able to talk to each other in a way that\u202fmakes that experience sound for the end user and symbiotic is incredibly important.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

These capabilities aren\u2019t just hypothetical either. For example, Trintech customer Enova International<\/a> reconciles approximately 75 million transactions a year\u2014a feat no other technology provider could manage in a cost-effective way before they found Trintech.
