We\u2019re a consulting firm that primarily helps clients\u2014especially in property management\u2014implement and optimize accounting software and financial processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-left has-blue-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-d9a0e5cab79985b385df960fa63df5b0\"><strong><strong>The Challenge: A Large Organization Struggling with Month-End Close<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Q: <strong><strong>What prompted you to bring Trintech into this client engagement?<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A:<\/strong> I first encountered Trintech at a finance and accounting technology expo in New York City, where they were presenting their solutions. I was immediately excited by what I saw\u2014particularly their <strong>task management capabilities<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the time, I knew of a large New York\u2013based client that was really struggling with its <strong>month-end close<\/strong>. They had a very complex environment with a large number of users, tasks, and dependencies, and the close process was inefficient and difficult to manage. When I saw Trintech, I thought it would be a great fit for that client. A few months later, that same organization asked me to step in as an <strong>interim CFO for six months<\/strong> to help optimize their accounting processes. That created the perfect opportunity to formally introduce them to Trintech.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Why Trintech: Customization, Flexibility, and Executive Visibility<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Q: <strong>What made Trintech the right choice for this client?<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A:<\/strong> From the beginning, Trintech\u2019s sales team spent significant time understanding our <strong>processes and requirements<\/strong>. We had some very unique ways we wanted to view tasks and manage close activity\u2014nothing truly \u201cout of the box.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Trintech team took a <strong>sample task list<\/strong> we provided and built a highly customized version of it, allowing us to slice and dice the data in multiple ways on the dashboard. That level of customization was critical. We did look at other solutions\u2014no one buys software without considering alternatives\u2014but by that point, Trintech had already delivered a demo that looked and felt exactly like the client\u2019s real-world environment. It was very difficult for competitors to match that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-left has-blue-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-cdd71a9a476045e631e4db0bfed84b4e\"><strong><strong><strong>Implementation Approach: Pilot, Learn, Scale Quickly<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Q: <strong>How did the implementation process unfold?<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A:<\/strong> The client is implementing roughly <strong>400 month-end close tasks<\/strong>, so we took a very intentional approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We kicked off implementation in <strong>July<\/strong> with <strong>four pilot properties<\/strong>, each with different variables. That allowed us to test different scenarios, identify what worked, and uncover what didn\u2019t. We then adjusted the process and reused it the following month with improvements. From there, we began rolling out aggressively\u2014onboarding <strong>50 properties at a time<\/strong>. It\u2019s been a rapid-fire deployment, and the process has been incredibly effective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-left has-blue-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-1c74023ade802a11583c9cce4aded132\"><strong>Change Management and Adoption: Executive Buy-In Makes the Difference<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Q: <strong>How did the organization respond to the new system?<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A:<\/strong> Adoption has been outstanding. This is a large organization with a dedicated <strong>learning and development team<\/strong>, and they fully embraced the solution\u2014creating custom training materials and ongoing sessions as new users came on board. What\u2019s been most impressive is the <strong>executive engagement<\/strong>. Senior leaders were navigating the dashboard within days, identifying bottlenecks, and addressing root causes of delays. The software didn\u2019t just show where processes were slow\u2014it made people issues visible so leadership could address them directly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-left\"><strong><strong>Measurable Benefits: Visibility, Accountability, and Continuous Improvement<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Q: <strong><strong><strong>What impact has Trintech had so far?<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A:<\/strong> The biggest benefit is <strong>visibility<\/strong>. And what\u2019s really exciting is that this started with accounting close, but now <strong>every department<\/strong> wants in\u2014HR, learning and development, property onboarding.
