I was the&nbsp;first hire in finance&nbsp;at the company, and at the time, we relied heavily on&nbsp;external accountants&nbsp;to handle many of our month-end activities.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the biggest challenges&nbsp;wasn\u2019t&nbsp;just doing the work\u2014it was&nbsp;<strong>tracking what was being done, when it was being done, and where everything lived<\/strong>. Our external accountants were based in&nbsp;<strong>two different countries\u2014the UK and Malta<\/strong>\u2014and reconciliation files were stored on their servers. Finding documents, reviewing work, and&nbsp;maintaining&nbsp;oversight was difficult and time-consuming.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Why Trintech: Centralized Control &amp; Review&nbsp;across Geographies<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Q: What role did&nbsp;Trintech&nbsp;play in solving that&nbsp;challenge?<\/strong>&nbsp;<br><strong>A:<\/strong>&nbsp;Using&nbsp;Trintech&nbsp;made&nbsp;a huge difference. I was able to require external accountants to&nbsp;<strong>upload all balance sheet reconciliations into a single platform<\/strong>, where I could then&nbsp;<strong>review and approve them centrally<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Instead of chasing files across shared drives and different servers, everything became accessible to me in one place. That alone made the close process significantly easier\u2014especially with teams working across borders.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Implementation Experience: Supportive, Flexible &amp; Built&nbsp;around Real Constraints<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Q: What was the implementation experience like?<\/strong>&nbsp;<br><strong>A:<\/strong>&nbsp;The implementation was honestly&nbsp;<strong>amazing<\/strong>. I had used&nbsp;Trintech&nbsp;in&nbsp;a previous&nbsp;role, but I&nbsp;wasn\u2019t&nbsp;involved in that original implementation.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Trintech team worked directly with me and showed me how to&nbsp;<strong>really&nbsp;leverage&nbsp;the&nbsp;solution&nbsp;while setting it up<\/strong>. They talked through how&nbsp;I\u2019d&nbsp;used it before, suggested&nbsp;<strong>better and more efficient ways<\/strong>&nbsp;to configure it, and supported me throughout the entire process.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because I was the only finance person at the time, the project had to work around&nbsp;<strong>my time constraints<\/strong>. The team was flexible, understanding, and supportive\u2014and overall, it was&nbsp;a very positive&nbsp;experience.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Growing with Confidence: Visibility, Approvals &amp; Audit Readiness<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Q: How has Trintech supported you as the finance function has grown?<\/strong>&nbsp;<br><strong>A:<\/strong>&nbsp;Today, I have a&nbsp;<strong>team of five<\/strong>, and the biggest benefit is&nbsp;<strong>visibility<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I can easily see when reconciliations are completed, review them, and approve them electronically. Everything is transparent and accessible.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re&nbsp;also approaching our&nbsp;<strong>first audit<\/strong>, and Trintech has been critical in preparing for that. Instead of pulling together countless Excel files, I can simply&nbsp;<strong>grant auditors access to the system<\/strong>, giving them first-hand visibility into reconciliations.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>That saves&nbsp;everyone&#8217;s&nbsp;time<\/strong>\u2014they\u2019re&nbsp;not chasing documents, and&nbsp;I\u2019m&nbsp;not digging through shared drives.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Ongoing Partnership: Proactive Guidance &amp; Expanding Value<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Q: How would you describe your ongoing relationship with Trintech?<\/strong>&nbsp;<br><strong>A:<\/strong>&nbsp;It\u2019s going&nbsp;really well.
