Business Drivers to Automate<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Prior to implementing Adra, Condado Tacos was struggling with a highly manual reconciliation process conducted mostly in Excel spreadsheets with a very lean team. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe were opening almost 8-10 stores a year and when we hit double digits, I was still the only person handling our account reconciliation process for all the stores,\u201d said Zack Mehan, Financial Analyst at Condado Tacos. \u201cWe are rapidly growing, and we knew we weren\u2019t going to be able to keep up with that growth with the same manual process in place.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As they continued to scale the business, the overall process became very time-consuming with a lot of room for human error. \u201cWe didn\u2019t like the liability of managing everything in Excel,\u201d continued Mehan. \u201cIf our Controller wanted to review the work that was done, he would have to access almost 20 different Excel workbooks which was not an efficient use of his time.\u201d<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Why Adra\u00ae by Trintech?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When Condado Tacos came to the conclusion to either hire an additional headcount or explore automation, they chose to look into how automation could solve the challenges they were facing. In 2019, Condado Tacos decided to implement both Adra Matcher<\/a><\/strong> and Balancer <\/a><\/strong>to automate their high-volume transactions and balance sheet reconciliation process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, Condado Tacos is currently managing all cash accounts within Matcher and tracks cash over short daily which has been a huge time savings. \u201cWe have a ton of cash-heavy stores and that process was a huge hassle for us to manually track so having Adra to automate that process has been a significant win for us,\u201d said Mehan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Condado Tacos manages all balance sheet reconciliations within Balancer<\/a><\/strong> and have been able to assign risk ratings on certain accounts to only reconcile quarterly or yearly. \u201cOne of my favorite features is the ability to attach files within Balancer to show a complete audit trail for our leadership team or auditors,\u201d continued Mehan.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

ROI Achieved<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Condado Tacos has experienced several benefits since implementing Adra. \u201cOur overall process has sped up considerably which has allowed us to spend more time on analyzing the data,\u201d said Mehan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Looking ahead, Condado Tacos has aggressive plans to continue to scale the business. \u201cLike I mentioned earlier, we are rapidly growing, and we aren\u2019t even thinking about needing to expand our team because we have seen that Adra can scale with our business,\u201d continued Mehan. In addition, Condado Tacos is also looking to leverage multi-way transaction matching with Adra Matcher<\/a><\/strong> to help manage the increase they have seen in 3rd-party delivery services since the pandemic.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n
